So, today I turned 25....at 6:26PM to be exact. 25 WOW. Really, 25? These past 5 years have flown by like no other. I still feel like that girl, 18, going to college, getting ready for a new beginning...only difference, I'm now married and have two kids, and I know a little more than I did from when I was 18. But, I still feel like that girl, waiting for something, with big ambitions, to break out and find herself.
I wonder if you ever feel old. I remember my mom-mom always saying that she still feels like she's 18, just the body physically wears down.
So what have I done in 25 years? I've lived in Philadelphia for 10 years, I've lived in Maryland for 13 years, I've lived in Delaware for 2 years, I've finished 3 years of college (I'll finish my last year, eventually), I've spent the night at least one night in 16 states, I've figured skated 16 of those 25 years, I've been to one other country, I've met people that have changed my life forever, I have 2 kids, and I'm married. I say that's a lot.
So, wine glass and beer mugs in the air...Happy Birthday to me :)

Happy Birthday Falyn! Been reading your blog for some time now, but just now coming out of "stalker mode"! Hope you have a great one!
I'm a few years ahead of you and I still feel 18! And let me tell you, it just keeps getting better! At 31 I find I know myself now more than I ever did and the journey for self discovery gets so much deeper and more meaningful!

I know what you mean about feeling 18, I sometimes forget my age now (31). But it's all good, Age is a number, It's all about your spirit, I hope I never act my age :)
